Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Getalife Studios. By hiring our services, using our facilities, or utilizing any content produced by us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Definition of Services

Getalife Studios provides photography, videography, branding, digital marketing, web design, content creation, photo studio rental, and other related creative services. We reserve the right to update our list of services at any time.

2. Booking and Payments

  • All services require a signed contract or written agreement (including formal email or message confirmation).

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service fee is required to secure a booking date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day of service or final delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, Zelle, Venmo, or certified check.

  • Any unpaid balance after 30 days from the invoice date will incur a 5% monthly late fee.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance will be refunded only for the amount paid minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are not eligible for any refund.

  • Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 72 hours in advance.

4. Delivery of Materials

  • Photos, videos, and other deliverables will be provided in digital format via download link (WeTransfer, Google Drive, or equivalent).

  • Standard turnaround time is 7 to 14 business days, unless otherwise specified in the contract.

  • Additional edits or revisions not included in the initial agreement will incur extra fees.

5. Copyright and Licensing

  • Getalife Studios retains copyright ownership of all produced content unless a formal rights transfer agreement is signed.

  • The client receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for personal or agreed commercial purposes.

  • We reserve the right to use any created content for self-promotion, including but not limited to social media, portfolio, and website, unless a written confidentiality agreement is in place.

6. Use of Facilities

  • Studio rental is subject to Getalife Studios' internal rules and guidelines.

  • The client is responsible for any damage to equipment, property, or infrastructure during their use.

  • Smoking, drug use, or alcohol consumption is prohibited inside the facilities unless prior written consent is granted.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Getalife Studios is not liable for data loss, lost profits, or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services.

  • In the event of technical failure, unforeseen damage, or force majeure, our liability will be limited to a refund of the amount paid for the affected service.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • All client-shared information will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for fulfilling the contracted services, unless written permission is provided for disclosure.

9. Jurisdiction

  • This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.

  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of New York City.

10. Modifications

Getalife Studios may update these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these changes.
